• The company's founder, Larissa Goldenberg, began her journey to
becoming a bridal consultant 24 years ago. She has worked her way up
through the ranks in large banquet facilities throughout Chicago; first,
she was a waitress, then a bartender, a chef, and one day finally ran the
place as manager. Her extensive experience in the industry had given her
so many fabulous ideas that when the opportunity came she decided to open
a business of her own where every bride could benefit from her knowledge
and have the wedding of their dreams. And thus, Design By
Larissa was born.
• DBL's mission is to take our client's vision for their fabulous
event and bring it to life while saving them money, time, and effort.
This allows us to take the headache off our client's shoulders so they
can focus on what's truly important.
• We pride ourselves on the quality of service and individual
attention we provide to each and every client. Our goal is to make every
Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or birthday/corporate party unique and
unforgettable for the honorees as well as their guests!
• DBL is unique in its approach to any party, whether it be a
Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, birthday, or graduation. We can provide a wide
array of equipment and accessories for the event as well as setting-up
unique, decorative seafood /black caviar and sushi displays. Plus
DBL's sweet tables are legendary in Illinois and beyond (take a peek
at our Photo gallery). Through our many vendors we assist in providing
specialty linens and ice sculptures at extremely competitive prices.
